Willow\u2019s Status:<\/strong>
<\/em>Suffering quietly. She has claimed the heating pad, where she lies like a sad Victorian widow, sighing every time another cackling animatronic goes off. A crow cawed near her head and she nearly rolled over in protest. Tartiflette offered her a half-eaten cookie as tribute. Willow licked it once and returned to her vigil of doom.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Tartiflette Update:<\/strong>
Maximum chaos. Minimum supervision.
She has:<\/p>\n

-Stolen three<\/em> fake eyeballs<\/p>\n

– Eaten part of a glowstick.<\/p>\n

– Declared herself the \u201cHalloween Cookie Inspector.\u201d<\/p>\n

– Disappeared into the storage closet and emerged wearing a <\/em>spider hat she did NOT put on herself<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n

She then screamed <\/em>\u201cIT\u2019S MY GOTCHA SEASON\u201d <\/em>and launched herself into the laundry pile. <\/em>I just can\u2019t.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Charlotte\u2019s Reaction:<\/strong>
One word: Exalted.<\/strong>
She believes Halloween is her<\/em> season. She\u2019s been strutting around like a warlord who just conquered Spookyland. Her mood is between \u201cjudging everyone\u201d and \u201csetting booby traps with rubber rats.\u201dShe painted her claws (again), is requesting we replace all porch lights with torches, and has submitted a formal demand for \u201cdragon ambiance.\u201d She wants Scorchio inside the house but Karen is not caving.<\/p>\n\n

When told this was not feasible, she hissed, filed a complaint, and redecorated the complaint box into a tiny haunted mansion. Complete with a ghost plush and a miniature “<\/em>Collateral Damage<\/em> Graveyard” sign. She\u2019s insufferable. And impressive. But mostly insuffera\u2026, <\/em>wait, <\/em>TARTIFLETTE!!!!!! STOP ADDING FAKE SPIDERW<\/em>E<\/em>BS TO THE LITTER BOX!!!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Lilith\u2019s contribution:<\/strong> Summoned a mist \u201cfor ambience,\u201d then left to levitate over the dining table.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

\"\"What Karen (aka \u201cThe Halloween General\u201d) has done in the past 24 hours:<\/h3>\n

– Ordered <\/span>three<\/em> new animatronic witches because \u201cone wasn\u2019t cackly enough.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Screamed \u201cMORE BONES\u201d into the void and summoned two Amazon packages full of skeleton hands.<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Tried to dress Ziggy as a Victorian ghost. Ziggy retaliated by knocking a cauldron off the table.<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Declared that the front yard needs \u201c<\/span>just one more cemetery<\/em>\u201d (we are now at Cemetery #4).<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Said, with a straight face, <\/em>\u201cDon\u2019t eat the candy eyeballs, they\u2019re part of the aesthetic.\u201d<\/em><\/h3>\n

– At 6:14 PM<\/strong>, Karen burst out of the basement wearing a black cape, a jack-o\u2019-lantern necklace that lights up with every step, and a deeply unhinged gleam in her eyes. She declared\u2014verbatim:<\/span><\/h3>\n

– \u201cThis. Is. Halloween! This. Is. Halloween!\u201d And then? SHE SANG THE ENTIRE MOVIE. <\/span>THE ENTIRE MOVIE.<\/strong> The Nightmare Before Christmas,<\/em> from start to finish, in different voices. Including Lock, Shock, and Barrel.<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Charlotte was so horrified she fainted into a pile of rubber severed hands. I, Luna, bravely attempted to stop her by brandishing my clipboard. She just incorporated me into the choreography. Then\u2014AND I WISH I WAS KIDDING\u2014she grabbed Tartiflette, who was still wearing the spider hat for no apparent reason, and <\/span>started doing the Monster Mash.<\/strong> They danced. They mashed. They yelled \u201c<\/span>Baguette!<\/em>\u201d at random intervals for spooky French flair. They knocked over 3 crates, the animatronic werewolf, and a bowl of candy corn. Tartiflette ended the number by leaping into the fog machine and disappearing like a tiny smoky goblin.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Meanwhile:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

– Lilith<\/strong> tried to banish Karen using a DIY pentagram made of string cheese and dead leaves.<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Ziggy<\/strong> retreated into the coffin prop again. She says she\u2019s \u201creconsidering the concept of reincarnation.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Charlotte, <\/strong>despite loving Halloween, <\/strong>is filing for emotional damages and was last seen hiding behind a stack of tombstones muttering, \u201cEsto no puede estar pasando\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

– Willow<\/strong> just closed her eyes and whispered, <\/span>\u201cIf I pretend to be dead, will the props leave me alone?\u201d<\/em><\/h3>\n\n

\"\"Conclusion:<\/strong>
<\/em>I, Luna the COO, demand <\/em>a ceasefire<\/strong> on further decorating until the fog levels are under 9000 and we can see the floor again. Karen has promised a \u201cfew more things,\u201d which history shows means at least 11 new animatronics and a tombstone with someone’s face on it. Probably <\/em>Collateral Damage<\/em>. Possibly mine.<\/em><\/p>\n

Next Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Reclaim control of the living room.<\/p>\n

– Schedule a porch inspection before Charlotte builds a guillotine again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

– Hide the batteries from Tarti.<\/p>\n

– Find out what Lilith summoned last night. (Ziggy said it smelled<\/em> like swamp and cinnamon.)<\/p>\n\n
