RE: The ramblings of Luna, self-appointed Martyr-in-Chief<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It has come to my regal attention that our Chief Operations Officer\u2014Luna the Overdramatic\u2014has submitted a log detailing what she calls the \u201cVirginia Betrayal.\u201d I, Charlotte of the Arctic Circle, First of Her Name, Bringer of Side-Eye and Sass and Keeper of Order<\/strong>, am compelled to respond before my whiskers curl from secondhand indignation.<\/p>\n

1. The Candleholder Catastrophe.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Let us address the so-called Swedish Incident. Yes, two candleholders fell. Yes, Tortilla Flat said, \u201cmy toe did it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

But allow me to clarify: I didn\u2019t push them. I merely tested their architectural stability. I whispered \u201cI hate warm neutrals\u201d<\/em> for science.<\/p>\n\n

You want a scapegoat? Ask the toe goblin.<\/p>\n

2. Fraulein Zoomie von Fernslayer.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The emotional support hyena allegedly suffered a \u201cspooked toe.\u201d A toe. Singular. I have 18 toes, and I don\u2019t go knocking down furniture and yowling like a demon possessed every time one of them twitches. But nooo, Chimpi gets a pass because she\u2019s a \u201cbaby.\u201d Baby, my tail. She\u2019s a tornado wrapped in fur and lies.<\/p>\n

3. Luna\u2019s Resignation Threat.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Let the record state that Luna has threatened to resign 74 times since January<\/strong>. Last time it was because the water bowl was too reflective. Before that, someone chewed her favorite shoelace (it was HER<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n

If IKEA takes her, I say: May Odin grant them strength.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. The Real Victims<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Let us not forget:<\/p>\n

I have endured Tortilla Flat\u2019s interpretive dance on my face and her constant singing in my ears.<\/p>\n

Ziggy ate my treat and she shows zero remorse. She says \u201cwhat treat?\u201d<\/em>, to what I say \u201cI got your number, hussie.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Lilith tried to teach the Roomba witchcraft. Naturally. The Roomba is now possessed, only cleans under full moons, and hisses when it sees vacuum bags. Lilith says it’s \u201calmost ready for the coven.\u201d<\/em> Idiot.<\/p>\n

And the humans returned smelling of strange cats and even stranger things.<\/p>\n\n

Have I filed complaints?
Yes.<\/strong> In triplicate. To HR (Hissing Relations<\/em>). And I am calling Jesse the Pawyer.<\/p>\n

\n

5. On Sansibar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Yes, I muttered \u201cSansibar.\u201d<\/em> Not because I\u2019m sending Chimpi to a bar. Because it sounds exotic and distant enough to exile her there for a few months. Or a few centuries.<\/p>\n

\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

\"\" While Luna clutches pearls and composes rune-poetry, some of us maintain order.<\/strong> Some of us patrol the halls at night, regally<\/strong>, ensuring no toe goes unmonitored. Some of us are the backbone of this house.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
